Digital Art Study – Stylish Portrait 1/4 – 26 july 22
Hello all! With this I will be starting a series of 4 pieces with a unique style: Stylish Portraits. The concept is simple: we chose a portrait to draw and accentuate its most unique features. This way, we can easily recognize the subject but also point out our original drawing style.
Stylish 1 – Reference
Let’s start with this photography. As you may remember, I also used it to paint with acrylic a while ago.
A reference picture by Jekafe on Unsplash. The portrait is clear and seemed interesting to work on.
Stylish 1 – Sketching Phase
With this, I jumped straight to my laptot and on Photoshop, begun to sketch the subject properly.
I know the sketch doesn’t say a lot, but wait until the end 🙂
Stylish 1 – Result
Here you go! After blocking the colors and blending them, highlighting the shadows and the light spots… We ended with this first portrait.
We find the angular cheek, the long neck, the calm expression… we first remark in the photography.
Challenge ✅!
Stylish 1 – Conclusion
To conclude, I had to keep on experimenting this exercise and see what would come out of it!
